Jazbaa Review: Starring Aishwarya Rai and Irrfan Khan

Jazbaa movie was one of those movies that Sanjay Gupta has adopted from Foreign films and rewritten the screenplay for Indian Audiences. A remake or adapted or stolen version of Korean Film Seven days Jazbaa has everything Sanjay Gupta is fanatic about and he loves to see on screen. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is making a comeback with this movie and it has proved to be a good decision for her as movie is all about Aishawarya Rai Bachchan.

Jazbaa Movie Review - Aishwarya Rai

Jazbaa starts with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Anuradha Varma. The film starts with introduction of all main characters and the main conflict of film. After the kidnapping of Sanaaya, Aishwarya’s daughter, it becomes more of cat- mouse chase where Aishwarya has got Irrfan Khan by her side to get her daughter back. What follows after that is nothing new for Indian audiences. Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi outplayed their roles and give you some paisa vasool performance.

Sanjay Gupta could have used the script in better way, avoided the over use of greenish tint, the over dramatic scenes and unnecessary use of slow-motion for no reason. The performances from Shabana Azmi, Irrfan Khan and Aishwarya save the movie. The songs are good and situational. Overall movie experience is above average and you can enjoy it for few minutes.
